Coffee, Chocolate and Hugs...
... what more can a girl want?
Things that have warranted an extra dose of the above:
1) A Greek Exam
2) Announcing at my church and youth group that this will be my last term (next year I'm headed to Lane Cove)
3) A general review of the year in chicks chaplancy group
How these things have turned out:
1) I'm pretty sure I've scraped through with greek. Today we were given the answers, and from the grammar stuff I reckon I got about half right, so unless I've really bombed out on the translation, so I'm feeling ok about it.
2) It was an emotional week regarding this but now it's out I'm feeling better about it all. Still very sad to go, but now can focus more on the excitment of going. Plus those girls I get to share with are an amazing bunch of 13 year olds, and blow me away with their love and prayers.
3) The review was hard as I was feeling very pessimistic, we could draw a picture/symbol representing something of what this year has been like.
so here's what I drew (it's a bit fuzzy and I'm not the best at drawing):

The first image is a roller coaster - typical ups and downs, twists and turns and the thrill of it all, being out of control and that lead to the second image in the corner...
a metaphor my friend TP and I would use when we would catch up.
Life is like a roundabout with traffic lights. (They're not heaps common, but there's one in Blacktown I drive through a fair bit... anyway)
The traffic flows through the roundabout, but if things are getting a bit hectic the red light goes on to stop whatever's coming from a particular direction. Maybe there's more than one red light.
The problem with this year (and you can't see it in the picture) is that at my roundabout there's a little sign that says "Repair in progress". It's been like all my traffic lights have been broken and I haven't had any way to stop the traffic that's been buzzing through.
Now don't get me wrong, not all of this traffic has been bad, but the onslaught at times - too much to bear!
All in all there's two things to say:
- life's been interesting and
- bring on those Hugs, the Coffee and Chocolate.

amen to that!
What about a chocolate bear that gives great hugs and smells of coffee?
I call him Chofee the hug bear.
I've never met him, but urban myth says he dwells in the academia world. If I find him I'll call you.

Heya Lisa,
How’s ur week been?
Was ur comment meant to say ‘I read over’ instead of ‘read over’? ~Confusing~ But I read over my previous posts anyway. I’ve been reading Matthew lately which is why my blog contains so many verses from Matthew. I don’t think they make me anxious, rather they just make me realise how self obsessed my life can be at times. Hhmmm maybe they do make me anxious?!?!
My quote is quiet possibly from ‘Little Miss Sunshine’. I haven’t seen the movie.
Glad to hear ur feeling good about ur Greek exam!
Awh i had a cool picture i wanted to put here but it won't let me post it :0( shall describe it to you. Was a little stick person saying 'If hugs could be emailed you would be squished.
See ya round!
